HELP WANTED:

Research and Development Showroom is a multi-line showroom looking for a Jr Sales Rep / Showroom Assistant to support all facets of sales.  The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year experience in a mutli-line showroom

Responsibilities:

-manage daily operations of a multi-line showroom which includes multiple projects (office work, sample coordination, packing and unpacking samples, entering orders,  appointment outreach, etc.)

-strong support for the sales team - help to manage relations with existing and prospective accounts (participate in tradeshows/LA Market)

-basic admin duties / maintain overall appearance of the showroom

Requirements:

-Must have 1 year experience in a multi-line showroom 

-Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written

-Must have an interest in sales and fashion

-Must be comfortable and to be trusted working independently and alone

-Highly organized and detail oriented

-Must have strong WORD, EXCEL and DATA ENTRY experience, PHOTOSHOP, AND WEB DESIGN.  LOOKING FOR A COMPUTER WHIZ

-Must have a strong work ethic and be a team player with an energetic and friendly attitude, Confident personality that is comfortable working with buyers, and that can take initiative and multi task 

-Must be sales minded and be able to problem solve 

-Must be willing to learn and grow with our team 

-Flexibility with schedule is imperative.  Will be needed for market travel to New York and Vegas, possibly Philadelphia as well as minimal roadwork as needed

-Existing solid relationships with specialty stores,  (footwear and eco-friendly stores  a major plus)

-Must fit the position

-Bachelor’s Degree is highly valued
