Capital Connections – Facilitating Access to Capital for Small Businesses in the LA Fashion District
The LA Fashion District launched the Capital Connections program, in partnership with Citi Community Development (CCD) and California Downtown Association (CDA), to promote economic development in the district by increasing access to financing for small businesses.

The Fashion District will be working with Valley Economic Development Corporation (VEDC), an organization focused on small business lending, to facilitate access to capital traditionally unavailable to small businesses. What does this mean? If you are a small business owner in the Fashion District, you may qualify to receive a small business loan through our program, even if you wouldn't normally qualify for a loan through a bank or have previously been rejected by another financial institution.

This program is only available to businesses in the Fashion District with a revenue under $1 million. If you are interested in learning more about the program, please contact LA Fashion District Public Information Coordinator, Ariana Gomez at 213-488-1153 ext. 718 or ariana@fashiondistrict.org.
