Administrative Assistant/Design Room Assistant

Full time position at women's contemporary brand based in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities:
•To provide administrative support for the Designer, Production Director and PR Director.
•Act as liaison between brand, designer, employees/interns and outside contacts.

•Linesheet and lookbook layout creation. Photo editing not required, but a plus.
•Maintain production calendar, PO system, fabric orders and cut tickets.
•Assist with store orders and shipping pick tickets with 3rd party shipper, including maintaining in-house online store Available-To-Sell list and inventory.

•Market research - what is trending, what is hitting in retail, what oncoming trends are approaching, etc.
•Participate in marketing and social network outreach meetings, generating ideas to further brand awareness.
•Attend showroom style-out meetings for future season design planning.
•Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
•Organization skills.
•Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft office. Adobe Suite also preferred.

•Personal transportation.

Desired Characteristics:
•Design/styling background preferred.
•Flat sketching ability by hand or CAD is a plus.
•Must exhibit excellent communication skills, written and verbal, as well as advanced computer skills.
•Able to stay organized, multi-task, respond quickly in pressure situations and work independently.
•Be a self starter, able to take responsibility for assignments and take on new projects efficiently and see them through to their completion with minimal supervision.
