MARKETING/SALES MANAGER
for nationally & internationally recognized consumer baby products company.
Responsibilities include:
- Pursue sales in-house including department stores, specialty & gift boutiques as well as international distribution
- Work closely with west coast showroom to ensure sales goals are being met
- Process purchase orders and set up new accounts
- Create marketing strategies and materials for growing the business/sales for umbrella brand along with offshoot brands
- Tradeshow – schedule, coordinate, registration, and setup etc
- Tradeshow travel (approx. 4 times per year) where you will be responsible for opening new accounts, maintaining relationships with key accounts, reps, and customers.
- Work directly with the CEO and designer to make sure the company is successful and collections are ready for each new season.
- Manage our social media presence both local and national including online contests, growing fans and followers and cross marketing for the various platforms (Facebook,Twitter)
- Manage email marketing campaign both local and national including product promotions and newsletters
- Work closely with our PR Company & Brand Agency to ensure consistent message and follow through on new opportunities
Ideal candidate would have experience working at a fashion or consumer products company in the wholesale to retail space. Along with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and re-prioritize as appropriate and keep all the relevant parties updated on status. Be self motivated, have strong research and communication capabilities, a personable demeanor and be a team player!
Must be proficient in Quickbooks, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
