A September Wedding
There was a fabulous wedding on the 11th floor this weekend.
Here are a couple of pictures. What a great place for a party.
Here are a couple of pictures. What a great place for a party.
Can you imagine what the official photographer's photos will look like?
Congrats and much happiness to the bride and groom.
Thanks Blackburn and Sweetzer
"Famed street style photog Scott Schuman, who brings us inspiring images daily on The Sartorialist has been making the book-signing rounds from Paris to London to New York to Milan this Friday, and will make his way to the Beverly Center Thursday, October 22 from 8pm-10pm on Level 7 Beverly Center Terrace (the same level as Louis Vuitton). The Sartorialist book will be sold on Level 6 at Traffic Men and Traffic Women (the paperback $25, the Bespoke edition $175). Schuman will sign and mingle, hopefully with fellow photog and main squeeze Garance Dore, s’il vous plait! RSVP to events@lamag.com." via Blackburn and Sweetzer
Of course we love both Blackburn and Sweetzer and The Sartorialist but more importantly we love Carl at Traffic so we like to take advantage of any opportunity to give a shout out! Look forward to this fun event.

First Day of Coterie
Cooper is somewhat quiet except for some filming out front. Lots of people are in NY for Coterie which is just at Javits this season.
We hear there is traffic but not the throbbing mobs of seasons past. As wisely noted by a west coast showroom owner, Javits is spread out so the traffic will not seem as congested as it did at the compact piers.
We hope the next few days are busy. We will see everyone back in their showrooms on Friday just in time for sample sale day and Yom Kippur.
Safe trip back all.

Let's support our independents!
Since Emerson's has closed I think a lot of you are taking the walk around the corner to Starbucks. Did you know Gram & Papas is serving Intelligentsia Coffee? Mike is actually running to the local Intelligentsia facility to pick up the freshly roasted beans!!
WOW!!!that is someone that really wants to share quality coffee with his customers.
Let's support that wonderful kind of service that only your local independent will offer and not feed the corporate empire anymore. BTW it's actually closer.
